EcoIBC USA
Services

Four loops. One circular home for the IBC tote.

Most suppliers handle a single link of the chain — you sell to one company, buy from another, and pay a third to move them. EcoIBC USA closes the loop end to end, so a tote never falls out of circulation on our watch.

Why a Closed Loop Matters

A linear supply chain leaks value. A loop keeps it.

In the standard model, a composite IBC is made from virgin HDPE and galvanized steel, filled once, emptied, and landfilled — its embodied energy buried after a single trip. Our closed loop intercepts the tote at end-of-use, cleans and re-qualifies it, and puts it right back to work. The steel and plastic keep earning; you keep saving.

Know the Container

The composite IBC, in plain numbers.

Every service we run centers on the same object: the caged composite intermediate bulk container. Two sizes cover the vast majority of the market, both built the same way — an HDPE bottle inside a galvanized steel cage on a forkliftable pallet base.

Spec275 gallon (1,000 L)330 gallon (1,250 L)
Footprint (L x W)~48" x 40"~48" x 40"

Both sizes share the same pallet footprint, so they load a trailer the same way — the 330 just stands taller. Full dimension and weight charts live on the sizes page, and the 275 vs. 330 comparison helps you pick.

Who Runs the Loop With Us

Built for anyone who fills, empties, or moves totes.

Totes touch nearly every liquid-handling industry. Wherever they pile up empty or run short, one of our four loops fits.

Chemicals & coatings

Manufacturers & blenders

Steady outbound totes and steady returns — a natural fit for standing buy-and-haul programs.

Food & beverage

Co-packers & producers

Certified food-grade stock in, empties out — closed-loop supply for edible and potable liquids.

Agriculture

Growers & ag-input dealers

Seasonal totes for fertilizer, adjuvants, and water — bought reconditioned, hauled both ways.

Distribution

Resellers & distributors

Wholesale, tiered pricing and staged stock so you never quote a customer from an empty yard.

Facilities

Warehouses & plants

One call clears a fence line of idle empties and puts cash back on the books.

Upcyclers

Farms & makers

Rain catchment, feed, and storage builds — see our upcycling ideas.

Why One Partner for All Four

The advantage of a single closed loop.

Splitting these services across a broker, a reconditioner, and a carrier means three invoices, three timelines, and a tote that can fall out of the loop at any handoff. Running them under one roof isn't just tidier — it changes the economics.

One loop

  • Buy and sell settle against each other
  • Empties pickups ride outbound trucks — less deadhead
  • One point of contact, one landed price
  • Full chain-of-custody on prior contents

Three vendors

  • Separate quotes, separate lead times
  • Freight billed twice for the same lane
  • Totes idle between handoffs
  • History gets lost between parties
The math

Reuse beats remanufacture

Reconditioning a tote uses roughly 90% less energy than molding a new HDPE bottle and fabricating a fresh galvanized cage. Every unit we keep circulating skips virgin resin, steel, and most of the manufacturing footprint.

Multiply that by a truckload and it adds up fast. Model your own load in the loop calculator.

Services FAQ

Common questions about the four loops.

Do I have to use all four services?
No. Each loop stands alone — buy without selling, haul without buying, whatever you need. The value simply compounds if you combine them, because a delivery and an empties pickup can share a truck and one invoice.
Can I sell and buy on the same order?
Yes, and it's our favorite arrangement. We can deliver reconditioned totes and collect your empties on the same trip, then net the buy-back against your purchase. See selling and buying.
What area do you cover?
All 48 contiguous states, both directions. Lanes and transit windows are broken down on our nationwide shipping page.
What sizes do you handle?
Primarily the two workhorse composite sizes — 275 gallon (1,000 L) and 330 gallon (1,250 L). Both share a 48" x 40" footprint; the 330 stands about 7 inches taller. Details on the sizes page.
How fast is a quote?
Typically within one business day for any of the four services. Send counts, sizes, and ZIPs through the form and we'll price the totes and freight together.
What makes this a "closed loop"?
Because a tote never has to leave our system: we buy it, recondition it, sell it, and haul it — so its steel and plastic keep working instead of being landfilled after one trip. Read the full case on our sustainability page.
